Mark 12:41–44

"And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, 'Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.'"

Giving is a part of our worship to God. It has been said that you can tell nearly everything about a person by the way they spend their money. Whether you are tithing in obedience to Proverbs 3:9 or contributing over and above your tithe as an act of generosity, your gift will help us minister God’s hope and healing to our community and beyond.

We don't care how much or how little you can give but whatever you do, be faithful to what God has called you to. We know that our God can more then make up for any shortages we might ever encounter. We also know that the glory belongs to God for any surplus He might give.

We give in order to be blessed, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give out of gratitude and love!

Thank you for your gift!
