Where are you? ... Depends.

Being a Christian is about having a relationship with Christ, walking with Him daily. Christianity is not simply a religion. Because following Christ is a journey we might find ourselves at different places at different times.

Where are you?

  • Salvation

    • God Loves - God created you, knows everything about you, and loves you. He loves you so much that He sent His only Son to this earth for you (John 3:16; Psalm 139).
    • Sin Separates - God loves you, but there is a problem - your sin. Your sin separates you from God. Your thoughts, words, and actions keep you from a holy God (Romans 3:23, 6:23).
    • Jesus Saves - Jesus came from Heaven, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again so that you could have a personal relationship with God. There is nothing you can do to earn God’s love and salvation; it is a free gift (Rom 5:8; Eph 2:8-9).
    • We Receive - God desires to have a personal relationship with you. He has prepared the way for you by sending His Son, Jesus. You can have a personal relationship with Jesus by repenting of your sin, turning from your sinfulness, and placing your hope and trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross (Romans 10:9-10,13)

  • Baptism

Allegan Bible Church understands baptism to be a believer’s symbolic identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It is done by immersion as an act of obedience by those who have put their faith and trust in Christ. Allegan Bible Church believes that baptism is an important step in the life of a believer. While baptism is not necessary for salvation in Jesus, it is crucial in the discipleship process of the believer.

  • Fellowship

Join a church! There are few steps you must take in order to join the Allegan Bible Church family:

    • You are encouraged to go to one of our membership classes. These classes will help you understand the basics of our church and how you can be a part of our family
Allegan Bible Church wants to help you grow in your relationship with Christ. One of the best ways for you to accomplish this is to get involved in the life of the church. A good starting point would be to give 3 hours per week.
    1. An hour of corporate worship.
    2. An hour of small group Bible study.
    3. An hour of serving.
  • Outreach

God has appointed us as His ambassadors. One of the believer’s privileges is to witness about his or her faith in Christ. Witnessing, or evangelizing, means to share the plan of salvation with another person, so that they might also come to accept Christ.
