Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation. We were made to live in fellowship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. The Bible calls us members of the body (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) with the expectation that we contribute to the body for the glory of God and the good of His people.
"He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
Seed Groups are how we do community. As an essential but new part of our church, they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. A place where deep roots can go forth, and good fruit can be cultivated. Below is a list of all the current Seed Groups. Please feel free to contact any of them if you have any questions, or are curious about space in their group.
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to around 8. We normally have snacks to enjoy, and small children crawling around, so don't be surprised by the chaos! Feel free to bring the whole family because our yard is one big play fort. If you have children, we all provide our own child care for this group.
